As the City Councillor that represents Gloucester-Southgate Ward in Ottawa, I am happy to endorse Ms. Norma Domey for Vice President of the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada.
  

I have known Norma Domey for 15 years and worked with her on the Toastmasters International District 61 Executive. Norma is an effective leader who lead District 61 to a distinguished level of performance during her year as District Governor. When Norma takes responsibility for a task, project or other objective, she always works diligently to bring it to a successful conclusion.

Norma has great interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence which are essential for being a strong leader. She acknowledges everyone, shows appreciation, and recognizes their accomplishments. Norma ensures that team members are equipped to perform their tasks, supports them with her knowledge and experience and follows up to confirm that deliverables are on schedule.

Norma has extensive experience working with and leading executive committees, boards and other committees. In Toastmasters District 61, she led a bilingual executive committee of about 100 leaders in support of almost 5,000 Toastmaster members in Quebec, Eastern Ontario and Northern New York State.

I am confident that Norma Domey will be an effective leader and Full-time Vice-President for PIPSC. Her experience as a dedicated public servant, experienced union member and effective leader and communicator, makes her an ideal Candidate to help achieve important changes for Canada’s public servants.

I wholeheartedly endorse Norma Domey running for the position of “Full Time Vice President” for PIPSC.  Norma is a true servant leader, creating an environment of success through service and leadership.
 
I am an active Executive member of the organization “The Canadian Federation of University Women of Kanata”.  Norma has generously given very informative presentations to our Club over the past 10 years.  Her timely topics have covered such issues as “Emotional Intelligence”, “Conflict Prevention and Resolution”, “Our National Hero – Viola Desmond” and “Black History in Canada”.

I personally know Norma as a very hard worker with ethical values.  She passionately reflects the Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Service and Excellence. She is definitely a role model, as she always does her due diligence to be prepared for any situation.

It is with pleasure and pride that I support Norma Domey goals to win this prestigious position as Vice President.  She will make an outstanding leader.  Her guidance will reflect the Past, Present and Future of your organization. To whom it may concern,

From 2014 to 2018, I had the pleasure of serving on the Hunt Club Park Community Association Board of Directors with Norma Domey. As a volunteer Board we rely on the skills our Team brought to the table.

Her background and knowledge in governance was integral as we revamped our constitution. She also helped plan our successful winter and summer community festivals. Norma also presented our annual report to Mayor Jim Watson at City Hall on behalf of our 2016 President.
